Unique Foaming Action

With a unique foaming action, RootX reaches the top of the pipe where 90% of the root intrusion occurs. Surfactants in the RootX formula strip away grease and grime on the roots, and an EPA registered herbicide (Dichlobenil) kills the roots on contact and prevents their regrowth.

RootX is packaged as two dry powder components in one container. When these components come in contact with water, they create a sticky foam that fills the entire pipe, coating the roots and pipeline surfaces with the RootX formula. RootX leaves a residual above the water line that continues to kill roots and inhibits new growth for up to 12 months.
